Entries will open on BROE on 5th September 2011 and close when 550 (Div 1 and 3 total) entries have been received, or, at the latest, Wednesday September 21st 6pm.
The start times for each division have changed.
In order to continue to offer the best possible event to clubs and athletes, the Wallingford Events Committee has created an additional division for The Long Distance Sculls which is held every autumn. As of 2011 the event will be three divisions, Division 1 and 3 held over 4500m. Division 2 will be held over 1500m and will specifically be for younger athletes. In 2011 this division will be open to entries from J13 and J14 coxed quads and J14 double sculls. This year the division will be limited to 40 entries, if successful this will increase over the years to come.
Wallingford Sculls is held over three divisions at 10.30 a.m., 1.00 p.m. and 3.00 p.m., with different events in each division. The single sculls results are pooled together to find the overall winner.
